What is CVE-2018-25384?

Wikidforum 2.20 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts through the reply_text parameter. By submitting specially crafted HTML content, attackers can exploit the rpc.php endpoint, leading to JavaScript code execution in the browsers of other users viewing affected forum replies. This vulnerability highlights the need for secure input validation and output encoding in web applications to prevent such attacks.
