What is CVE-2018-25408?

The Open ISES Project version 3.30A is susceptible to a path traversal vulnerability in the ajax/download.php endpoint. This flaw enables unauthenticated attackers to download arbitrary files by manipulating the filename parameter. By injecting directory traversal sequences such as ../, an attacker can access files located outside the designated directory, potentially exposing sensitive configuration files and system files.
