What is CVE-2018-2978?
A security vulnerability exists within the Import/Export component of Oracle Hospitality Simphony which can be exploited by low privileged attackers with network access via HTTP. This loophole enables unauthorized individuals to create, modify, or delete essential data within the system. The vulnerability can lead to substantial risks, including unauthorized access to critical data and the potential for partial denial of service, compromising the integrity and availability of Oracle Hospitality Simphony.
