What is CVE-2018-3873?
A buffer overflow vulnerability in the credentials handler of Samsung's SmartThings Hub allows an attacker to manipulate the device by sending an excessively long 'secretKey' value. This flaw arises due to the improper handling of the strncpy function, which can exceed the size of the destination buffer set to 128 bytes. Exploiting this vulnerability could enable unauthorized access and control of the affected device, posing significant security risk.
