What is CVE-2018-3948?
A denial-of-service issue has been identified in the URI-parsing capabilities of the TP-Link TL-R600VPN HTTP server. Malicious actors can exploit this vulnerability by crafting specific URLs that, when processed by the server, lead to an unresponsive state. This can result in significant downtime for the management portal, affecting any operations reliant on the device. Both unauthenticated and authenticated users can trigger this issue through specially designed web requests.
