What is CVE-2018-3958?

A use-after-free vulnerability exists in the JavaScript engine of Foxit Software's Foxit PDF Reader, specifically in version 9.1.0.5096. This issue arises when the Subject property of the this.info object is accessed improperly. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by convincing users to open a specially crafted malicious file. Additionally, if the browser plugin extension is enabled, merely visiting a malicious website can trigger the vulnerability, posing significant security risks.
