What is CVE-2018-3961?

A use-after-free vulnerability is present in the JavaScript engine of Foxit Software's Foxit PDF Reader version 9.1.0.5096. This vulnerability can be exploited when an attacker convinces a user to open a specially crafted malicious file that targets the Creator property of the this.info object. Additionally, if the user has the browser plugin enabled, simply visiting a malicious website may also lead to the activation of this vulnerability, exposing the system to potential harm.
