What is CVE-2018-3964?

A use-after-free vulnerability exists in the JavaScript engine of Foxit PDF Reader, specifically in version 9.1.0.5096. This issue can be exploited when a specially crafted PDF document is opened, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary code. The attacker must convince the user to open the malicious document; alternatively, if the browser plugin for Foxit PDF Reader is enabled, visiting a compromised website could also trigger this vulnerability, leading to potential exploitation.
