What is CVE-2018-3986?

An exploitable information disclosure issue has been identified in the Secret Chats functionality of Telegram's Android messaging app. Despite the feature's design to facilitate deletion of chat traces, a flaw exists that permits photos shared during these secret chats to remain on the device, even after the associated chats are deleted. This poses a significant risk to user privacy, as the retained images can be accessed by any app on the device, potentially exposing sensitive user data.
