What is CVE-2018-3994?

An exploitable use-after-free vulnerability exists in the JavaScript engine of Foxit PDF Reader. When a specially crafted PDF document is opened, it can lead to a previously freed memory object being reused, which can cause arbitrary code execution. Attackers may exploit this vulnerability by tricking users into opening malicious PDF files, or it can also be triggered through a compromised browser plugin when visiting malicious websites.
