What is CVE-2018-4043?

A privilege escalation flaw exists in the helper service of CleanMyMac X (version 4.04) due to inadequate input validation. This vulnerability enables a user with local access to manipulate the file system with root permissions, significantly increasing the risk of unauthorized changes. Successful exploitation requires an attacker to have local access to the affected machine.
