What is CVE-2018-4879?

A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in Adobe Acrobat Reader versions prior to 2018.009.20050, 2017.011.30070, and 2015.006.30394. This issue arises from improper handling of Enhanced Metafile Format Plus (EMF+) data in the image conversion module, allowing attackers to manipulate the buffer and potentially execute arbitrary code or corrupt sensitive data.
