Summary
A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 2018.009.20050 and earlier, 2017.011.30070 and earlier, and 2015.006.30394 and earlier. The issue arises during the image conversion process, specifically when handling Enhanced Metafile Format Plus (EMF+) data. This flaw can be exploited by attackers to write data beyond the allocated buffer, leading to potential corruption of sensitive data, or even allowing execution of arbitrary code in the context of the user.
