What is CVE-2018-4902?

A use after free vulnerability exists in Adobe Acrobat Reader that can be exploited through specially crafted PDF files. When a PDF containing a video annotation and associated media files is opened, the embedded JavaScript can trigger this vulnerability. Successful exploitation may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the affected system, posing significant security risks to users operating vulnerable versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
