What is CVE-2018-4905?

A buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 2018.009.20050 and earlier, 2017.011.30070 and earlier, and 2015.006.30394 and earlier. This issue arises during the TIFF processing within the XPS module, where the computation improperly interacts with memory, allowing for potential access to sensitive data due to reading beyond the end of the target buffer. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to significant data compromises.
