What is CVE-2018-4912?

A vulnerability in Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 2018.009.20050 and earlier, 2017.011.30070 and earlier, and 2015.006.30394 and earlier allows attackers to exploit a buffer overflow in the image conversion module handling JPEG 2000 data. This flaw enables an attacker to read data beyond the buffer's limit, potentially exposing sensitive information and compromising data confidentiality.
