What is CVE-2018-5085?
A vulnerability in K7 AntiVirus version 15.1.0306 allows local users to trigger a denial of service by executing improper input values through the IOCtl command 0x83002124. This flaw can lead to a system crash (BSOD) and potentially other unknown impacts, as the driver file (K7FWHlpr.sys) fails to adequately validate the inputs received.
