What is CVE-2018-5275?

A vulnerability in Malwarebytes Premium 3.3.1.2183 allows local users to trigger a denial of service via a flaw in the driver file FARFLT.SYS, stemming from inadequate validation of input values from the IOCtl command 0x9C40E020. Although the vendor has stated they could not reproduce this issue on any version of Windows, the potential risk remains for local users who may exploit this weakness, leading to a system crash or other unforeseen consequences.
