What is CVE-2018-5759?

A vulnerability in Artifex MuJS, specifically in the jsparse.c file, allows remote attackers to exploit improper maintenance of the Abstract Syntax Tree (AST) depth for binary expressions. By crafting a malicious file, attackers can cause excessive recursion, resulting in a denial of service. Users of MuJS version 1.0.2 are advised to upgrade to mitigate this risk.
