What is CVE-2018-5951?
A vulnerability present in MikroTik RouterOS allows an attacker to exploit improper packet handling. By sending a specially crafted 1-byte packet to the IPv6 address of a RouterOS device using IP Protocol 97, devices can be forced to reboot unexpectedly. This issue arises in all RouterOS versions that support EoIPv6, potentially leading to significant disruptions in network operations.
