What is CVE-2018-6265?
A vulnerability exists in NVIDIA GeForce Experience that allows a local user on Windows 7 to escalate privileges during the installation process. When the application is installed in elevated privilege mode, a user can initiate a browser session which may lead to unauthorized privilege escalation. This situation presents a potential risk as it could allow attackers to execute unauthorized actions within the context of an elevated user. Users are recommended to update to version 3.16 or later to mitigate this risk.
