The rsa_pss_params_parse function in StrongSwan version 5.6.1 is susceptible to a Denial of Service attack, where adversaries can exploit a vulnerability by sending specially crafted RSASSA-PSS signatures that do not include a required mask generation function parameter. This oversight can lead to unpredictable behavior and result in a service outage, compromising the availability of the affected system.
