What is CVE-2018-6799?

The AcquireCacheNexus function in GraphicsMagick versions prior to 1.3.28 is susceptible to a denial of service condition due to improper handling of crafted image files. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability, leading to potential heap overwrites and service disruptions as a pixel staging area is not utilized properly.
