What is CVE-2018-6961?

A command injection vulnerability exists in the local web UI component of VMware NSX SD-WAN Edge by VeloCloud prior to version 3.1.0. Although this component is disabled by default, enabling it on untrusted networks could allow attackers to exploit it, potentially leading to unauthorized remote code execution. VMware plans to remove this service from future product releases to enhance security.
