What is CVE-2018-7494?

In Delta Electronics' WPLSoft application, prior to version 2.45.0, a vulnerability exists due to the use of a fixed length stack buffer. This issue arises when an oversized value is read into the buffer from a file, which can lead to buffer overflow. Exploitation of this vulnerability may result in the overwriting of the buffer, potentially enabling remote code execution or causing the application to crash, compromising security and operational integrity.
