What is CVE-2018-7777?
The vulnerability arises from inadequate sanitization of the update_file request parameter in the update_module.php script of Schneider Electric's U.motion Builder software. This flaw allows a remote, authenticated attacker to craft and send specially designed requests to the server, thereby potentially executing unauthorized commands. Users are advised to upgrade to version 1.3.4 or above to mitigate this risk.
