What is CVE-2018-7906?

A vulnerability exists in certain Huawei smartphones whereby attackers can exploit insufficient parameter verification to execute a denial of service attack. By tricking users into installing a malicious application, the devices may experience a black screen that persists until the smartphone is restarted, significantly impacting user experience and device functionality.
