Summary

A flaw in the way Apache Tomcat Native handles OCSP responses led to the incorrect processing of invalid responses. This vulnerability allowed for the acceptance of revoked client certificates in mutual TLS configurations. Consequently, users whose certificates had been revoked could still authenticate, potentially undermining the security guarantees provided by certificate validation when OCSP checks were enabled.
