What is CVE-2018-8764?
The LDAP Account Manager by Roland Gruber Softwareentwicklung prior to version 6.3 is susceptible to a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability. The issue arises from the improper placement of the CSRF token in the sec_token parameter of a URI. This design flaw can be exploited by remote attackers, allowing them to bypass CSRF protection mechanisms by taking advantage of log files. As a result, user sessions may be compromised, leading to unauthorized actions within the application.
