What is CVE-2018-8813?

A security flaw in the login[redirect] parameter of WolfCMS version 0.8.3.1 allows remote attackers to manipulate redirect functionality. By crafting a specially malformed URL, these attackers can redirect unsuspecting users to arbitrary, potentially malicious websites, facilitating phishing schemes. This vulnerability emphasizes the need for robust input validation mechanisms to prevent unauthorized URL redirections.
