What is CVE-2019-0579?

A remote code execution vulnerability exists in the Windows Jet Database Engine due to improper handling of objects in memory. An attacker could exploit the vulnerability by persuading a user to open a specially crafted file or application, potentially allowing them to execute arbitrary code. Successful exploitation may enable the attacker to gain the same user rights as the logged-on user. This may lead to unauthorized access to data and system integrity compromise across various Windows operating systems.
