What is CVE-2019-1000020?

The libarchive library, starting from version v2.8.0, is susceptible to a vulnerability within its ISO9660 parser. The flaw occurs in the 'read_CE()' and 'parse_rockridge()' functions, leading to a potential denial of service condition. By opening a specially crafted ISO9660 file, an attacker can trigger an infinite loop, causing the application to hang indefinitely.
