What is CVE-2019-1003009?
An improper certificate validation vulnerability exists in the Jenkins Active Directory Plugin versions 2.10 and earlier. This defect is located in the ActiveDirectoryDomain, ActiveDirectorySecurityRealm, and ActiveDirectoryUnixAuthenticationProvider classes. If Jenkins is configured to utilize StartTLS, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to impersonate the Active Directory server that Jenkins connects to for authentication, potentially leading to unauthorized access and security breaches.
