What is CVE-2019-10310?
The Jenkins Ansible Tower Plugin is susceptible to a cross-site request forgery vulnerability that affects versions 0.9.1 and earlier. This flaw occurs in the form validation method of TowerInstallation, specifically in the doTestTowerConnection function. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability to connect to an arbitrary URL by leveraging credentials that were improperly managed. By obtaining credential IDs through alternate methods, attackers can capture sensitive information stored within Jenkins, leading to potential unauthorized access and manipulation of connected resources.
