What is CVE-2019-10970?

The vulnerability in Rockwell Automation's PanelView 5510 allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to exploit the Graphic Display. If successful, the attacker can boot up the terminal, leading to root-level access to the device’s file system. This exploitation can compromise the integrity and confidentiality of critical operational data housed within the system, posing a severe risk to industrial operations.
