What is CVE-2019-11355?

A command injection vulnerability exists in Poly HDX 3.1.13, where an attacker can exploit a feature that allows the creation or upload of server/user certificates on the administrator's page. By manipulating input in the Common Name (CN) or other Certificate Signing Request (CSR) fields with special characters, such as a single quote, an attacker can inject arbitrary commands. This could lead to execution of system commands with root privileges, compromising the security of the affected device.
