What is CVE-2019-11447?

A vulnerability exists in CuteNews version 2.1.2 that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code on the server through the avatar upload feature. By exploiting weaknesses in the handling of the $imgsize variable within the dashboard module, an attacker can manipulate the avatar_file field to bypass security controls. This can lead to unauthorized file modification and potentially compromise the server's integrity. Attackers could use the GIF file header to exploit this issue, making it critical for users to address.
