What is CVE-2019-11460?

A vulnerability exists in the GNOME gnome-desktop software, where an attacker can exploit a compromised thumbnailer to escape the bubblewrap sandbox. This is accomplished using the TIOCSTI ioctl command to inject characters into the input buffer of the thumbnailer's controlling terminal. The issue arises from insufficient filtering of the TIOCSTI ioctl on 64-bit systems, which can potentially lead to unauthorized access and further exploitation.
