What is CVE-2019-11574?

A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability has been identified in Simple Machines Forum (SMF) prior to version 2.0.17. This vulnerability arises due to the handling of user-supplied input directly in curl requests within the Subs-Package.php and Subs.php files. If exploited, this flaw can allow an attacker to make unauthorized requests to internal network resources, potentially leading to data exposure and further exploitation of the server.
