What is CVE-2019-12185?

eLabFTW version 1.8.5 is susceptible to a security flaw in its EntityController.php component that allows attackers to upload arbitrary files. This vulnerability enables individuals with valid user accounts to execute unauthorized commands on the server through specially crafted POST requests. The exploitation of this weakness could lead to the deployment of malicious PHP files in the web root directory, facilitating unauthorized access and control over the affected system.
