What is CVE-2019-12742?
A vulnerability in Bludit allows non-privileged users to change the passwords of any user accounts, including administrator accounts. This issue arises due to insecure direct object references in the user-password controller, where an attacker can manipulate the username parameter in a POST request, thereby gaining unauthorized access. Users of Bludit versions prior to 3.9.1 are encouraged to update their systems to mitigate this risk.
