What is CVE-2019-13493?

In Sitecore 9.0 rev 171002, a persistent Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the Media Library and File Manager components. This allows an attacker, with authenticated but unprivileged access, to manipulate file extensions. By doing so, they can inject arbitrary JavaScript into the application, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data compromise.
