What is CVE-2019-14526?
A security issue exists on certain NETGEAR Nighthawk M1 devices where the web interface's CSRF protection token is insecurely handled. The token is stored in a dynamically generated JavaScript file, allowing its embedding in third-party pages. This flaw permits attackers to bypass CSRF protections, potentially leading to unauthorized access and control over device configurations through malicious web pages.
