What is CVE-2019-14900?

A vulnerability exists in Hibernate ORM versions prior to 5.3.18, 5.4.18, and 5.5.0.Beta1, where improper handling of literals within the JPA Criteria API enables unsanitized input to infiltrate SQL queries during SELECT or GROUP BY operations. This flaw poses a risk of unauthorized data access and allows potential adversaries to execute additional attacks.
