What is CVE-2019-15699?

A vulnerability exists in Suricata 4.1.4 related to the parsing of corrupted SSLv3 packets. The TLSDecodeHSHelloExtensions function attempts to access unallocated memory due to a mismatch between the expected and actual lengths of the HSHelloExtensions. This issue can lead to unexpected behavior and may be leveraged by attackers to disrupt service or exploit the affected software.
