What is CVE-2019-15743?
The Xperia Touch Android device features a pre-installed app that inadvertently facilitates unauthorized microphone audio recording. This vulnerability allows a malicious app co-resident on the device to exploit an open interface provided by the maintenance tool, enabling it to record audio and store it externally. As a result, sensitive audio data could be captured without users’ consent, posing significant privacy risks.
