What is CVE-2019-15845?

Ruby versions prior to 2.4.7, 2.5.x up to 2.5.6, and 2.6.x up to 2.6.4 contain a flaw in the File.fnmatch function where path checking is inadequately implemented. This could allow an attacker to bypass restrictions imposed on file paths, potentially leading to unauthorized access to sensitive files or directories.
