A vulnerability in the Pengutronix barebox NFS component allows an attacker to exploit a remote buffer overflow through improper handling of a length field in the nfs_readlink_reply function. This issue occurs in versions up to 2019.08.1, where the length field is directly used in a memcpy operation, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution or denial of service, depending on the nature of the attack.
