What is CVE-2019-16248?

The media deletion feature in Telegram for Android prior to version 5.11 has a significant flaw. Although users are led to believe they can delete shared media files from a recipient's device by removing their own copy, this action does not delete the associated images from the Telegram Images directory. As a result, recipients may still retain access to these images, creating potential privacy concerns and undermining user trust in the platform's data management capabilities.
