What is CVE-2019-16980?

In FusionPBX prior to version 4.5.8, a vulnerability exists due to the unsanitized handling of the 'id' parameter in the call_broadcast_edit.php file, which in turn facilitates an SQL injection attack. This weakness allows attackers to manipulate SQL queries and potentially retrieve or alter sensitive data from the database. Proper sanitization of user inputs could mitigate this risk, making it essential for users to upgrade to the latest version.
